OFGEM have published updated guidance on FiTs that includes details of how the new EPC part is to work.
There are two separate but similar guides.
Generators using the ROO-FIT process for > 50kW systems
To prove an EPC exemption will require the production of a letter from a Domestic Energy Assessor stating that it is not possible to produce an EPC for the building and explaining why.
DECC have released the latest amendment to Standard Conditions for Feed-in Tariffs.
It covers the changes that will come in from April 1st covering EPCs and the multi-site aggregator rules.
DECC also tell me that OFGEM will shortly be producing guidelines regarding the rules applying to EPCs.
OFGEM have published the tables that set out the Feed-in Tariff rates for the year 2012/13 starting on April 1st.
DECC have announced that the non-domestic phase of RHI will open to applications from next Monday – 28th November 2011.

A new guidance document was issued today by OFGEM.
This attempts to clarify several areas such as definition of site, TIC & DNC, grants, and extensions.
Whilst it is aimed at owners/installers of >50kW systems most of it also applies to smaller systems too.
OFGEM have today published the 5th in the series of quarterly newsletters, with this one covering FiTs system registration data up to June 2011.
Here’s a simple graph showing how the introduction of Feed-in Tariffs, in April 2010, has massively accelerated the number of PV systems being installed across the UK. Month 13 on the graph is April 2010.

An analysis of TIC (Total Installed Capacity) by tariff band of the 120MW of PV systems installed so far shows that more than 85% of systems are in the retrofit 0-4 kWp band. And a tiny 800 kWp of stand-alone PV has been registered with OFGEM; the systems that caused DECC to implement the fast-track review.

EXGEN are systems installed before 15/07/2009 and transferred to FiTs from ROCs.
OFGEM have today published two documents that cover the administration processes for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) which they will be running. The consultation closes on 5th August 2011.

OFGEM have published an open letter requesting feedback on the process and problems of connecting distributed generation to the grid.

Deadline for submitting a response is 31st May 2011.
Can I ask everyone to please consider sending in a response if you have been affected by any relevant grid connection issues such as G83 limits, lack of clarity from DNOs, level of charges from DNOs, time delays or anything similar. It doesn’t matter if you are an installer or system owner, your views are still important.
OFGEM have today published an update to Engineering Recommendation G59/2, which now becomes G59/2-1.
